Porcelain Chinese plate with a brown to reddish-brown monochrome glaze, Qing Dynasty (c.1800–1850), round form with a slightly raised central well and a light contrasting rim, underside bearing an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark, in good used condition with minor age and wear marks; height 4 cm, diameter 21 cm.
Description from the seller
Chinese porcelain plate, finished with a glossy brown to reddish-brown monochrome glaze. The plate has a simple round shape with a slightly raised central medallion and a subtly contrasting light rim.
On the underside there is an apocryphal six-character mark of Emperor Chenghua. The mark refers to the historical Chenghua period.
The plate is in good used condition. The visible irregularities and lines along the rim occurred during firing and do not represent later damage. In addition, there are light signs of age and wear. Please examine the photos carefully for a full view of the condition.
