Modular ceiling lamp in pressed glass, 1970s

A striking hanging lamp, composed of a circular metal frame from which dense rows of modular pressed-glass elements hang.

The elements are cylindrical, sculpted with a remarkable geometric texture: pyramidal tips and star motifs create an effect almost like "carved ice.” Each module is threaded onto vertical rods, forming regular columns that build the lamp’s overall volume, which narrows slightly toward the bottom.

The light, filtering through these faceted surfaces, is fragmented and diffused in a bright yet delicate way, with continuous reflections and a highly tactile, material feel."
