Stanton 681EEE Mk II-S, black body, diamond cantilever marked EEE II-S / Stereohedron.
Test cartridge, channels functional and playback without audible distortion during testing. Straight cantilever; stylus present and visually clean. Age, hours of use, and remaining diamond life unknown: the stylus is sold as used, with no warranty on wear.
Both channels offer clean, uniform playback. Original Stanton brush present and functional. Mounted on an SME-type vintage Audio-Technica headshell, ready to install.
The Stanton 681 EEE is the reference and calibration cartridge used by sound engineers and radio stations in the 1970s and 1980s. It is renowned for its extremely flat frequency response, exceptional dynamics, and its famous “Broadcasting” sound: deep bass, rich mids, and highs that are never harsh.
Cartridge adjusted to the Technics 52 mm gauge.
