The Matrix Audio TS-1 represents the next-generation all-in-one solution for audiophiles using headphones and active monitors. This versatile audio hub combines, in a single compact device, a network streamer, a balanced DAC, and a high-quality headphone amplifier. Designed according to the philosophy of "simplifying complexity", the TS-1 removes the superfluous to bring music back to its pure essence.

Based on Matrix Audio's hi-fi streaming hardware platform from the M series, the device delivers significantly higher performance thanks to the updated display and the MA Player continuously evolving operating system. The MA Remote app guarantees seamless compatibility with iOS and Android devices, providing an intuitive and fluid user experience.

The fully balanced DAC uses dedicated AKM AK4493SEQ chips for each channel, with dual DAC units operating in parallel for enhanced dynamic range and richer sonic detail. The discrete, high-bias headphone amplifier features an output impedance of only 1 ohm, ensuring effective voltage dynamics even with low-impedance, high-sensitivity headphones.

Designed as a "center audio for all scenarios", it integrates five input interfaces: optical, coaxial, USB Audio, HDMI ARC, and analog RCA input. The high-quality XLR and RCA analog outputs facilitate building systems with active speakers, while the dedicated subwoofer output handles frequencies below 150 Hz for more immersive 2.1 configurations.
