Le Pavillon Philips was designed by Le Corbusier for the 1958 World Exposition in Brussels.
The Dutch firm Philips asks Le Corbusier to design an advertising pavilion, but the architect rejects a conventional project.
Inspired by the shape of a stomach, the pavilion rests on concrete shells.
Visitors enter an organic gloom where they discover the electroacoustic music of Edgard Varèse through more than 400 loudspeakers.
Contributions from L.C. Kalff, Edgard Varèse, Iannis Xenakis and Le Corbusier.
Sketches, photos and drawings by Le Corbusier.
Presentation sheet in four languages.
The pavilion was destroyed at the end of the Exhibition.
No delivery to the United States due to new legislation.
