Elegant sculptural pair inspired by the famous lions created by Antonio Canova for the funerary monument to Clement XIII in St. Peter's Basilica. The works depict the two iconic felines in complementary poses: the Sleeping Lion, lying in a tranquil and composed attitude, and the Watchful Lion, vigilant and majestic.

Both sculptures are produced via a reconstructed Carrara marble cast, with surfaces meticulously finished by hand, characterized by excellent attention to anatomical detail and a soft rendering of volumes typical of Canova's language. The pair offers a strong aesthetic and decorative impact, ideal for prestigious interiors, scenographic entrances, or classical settings.

Elegante coppia scultorea ispirata ai celebri leoni realizzati da Antonio Canova per il Monumento funebre a Clemente XIII nella Basilica di San Pietro. Le opere raffigurano i due iconici felini in pose complementari: il Leone Dormiente, disteso in atteggiamento quieto e composto, e il Leone Vegliante, vigile e maestoso.

Entrambe le sculture sono fatte tramite calco in marmo di Carrara ricostruito, con superfici minuziosamente rifinite a mano, caratterizzate da un’eccellente cura dei dettagli anatomici e da una resa morbida dei volumi tipica del linguaggio canoviano. La coppia offre un forte impatto estetico e decorativo, ideale per interni prestigiosi, ingressi scenografici o ambienti classici.
