Candlestick (2) - Bronze, Marble - Louis XVI Candlesticks

Elegant pair of single-light candelabra in full Neoclassical Louis XVI style, made at the end of the nineteenth century. This pair is distinguished by the refined juxtaposition of materials and the meticulous decorative details typical of the era.

The central shaft features a fluted structure enriched with delicate festoons and garlands of flowers in relief, crowned by a vase-shaped nozzle adorned with a beaded molding along the upper edge. The structure in gilded bronze rests on a solid overhanging square base made of pink veined marble, which lends lift and stability to the whole.
