Bernard Paris – From Private Collection ()Description: Offered due to downsizing of a private collection: An impressive 19th-century French pendulum clock in Empire style (circa 1860-1880). The heavy case of fire-gilded bronze (ormolu) is very richly detailed with a reading woman figure and mythological griffins. Movement: Signed E. Bernard Paris (Breveté, Médaille), serial number 1386. Runs well. Condition: Gorgeous golden shine. Authentic, later 19th-century pendulum. The dial has a small chip in the enamel under the right winding hole (see photo). Pickup preferred.
