Chair (2) - Walnut - Louis XV style

An enchanting pair of salon or bedroom chairs crafted in the Louis XV style (Neobarocco/Barocchetto). The chairs are entirely built from fine solid walnut wood, finely shaped and hand-carved. A distinctive design element is the pierced oval backrest in a "medallion" motif, enhanced at the top (crest) by a rich carving of well-defined floral and foliate patterns. Both the seat and the backrest feature the original Vienna straw inlay, a refined finish that lends visual lightness and freshness to the seating. The legs are elegantly shaped and curved, typical of Rococo-inspired style.
