An authentic vintage pendulum postal scale (Briefwaage) made by the renowned German manufacturer Jakob Maul. This model features a clever dual-range mechanism with two brass arcs: a high-precision lower scale measuring up to 100 grams and an upper scale measuring up to 350 grams.
The base bears the period French stamp "NON VÉRIFIÉ PAR L'ÉTAT", indicating it was imported into France for private office or home desk use.
