Unique & Museum-grade! 78-piece UNUSED Vredestein Promotion Dinnerware (Shoe Retail, approx. 1950s/60s)

A unique chance for collectors of industrial heritage and rare Dutch corporate design!
With pride we offer this extremely rare, 78-piece dinnerware set from the well-known Dutch factory Vredestein. This dinnerware has never been sold in regular consumer shops. It concerns an exclusive B2B relationship gift (savings action) from the early/mid 20th century, specially designed for independent shoe retailers who purchased Vredestein (and Hevea) rubber boots.

The unique design:
Because the promotion was specifically aimed at shoe retail, each piece is beautifully decorated with detailed images of historical and folkloric shoes and boots, including the corresponding year on the bottom of the item. The items bear the official, authentic Vredestein logo on the bottom.
The fact that a dinnerware set of this size (78 pieces) has remained so complete after all these decades makes this set absolutely unique and of museum value. A comparable complete set is nowhere to be found.

Condition and delivery:
The entire set is never used and is in a beautiful, display-case-worthy condition. The colors and images are still perfectly intact.
• Note: Of the two sugar pots, one lid has in the past been neatly glued. This is hardly noticeable, but is mentioned for completeness.
• Because of the enormous size (78 delicate pieces) and the historical value of this set, pickup only is possible in Lisse (South Holland). This ensures that this beautiful piece of history arrives safely to the new owner.
