Elegant extendable dining table of European workmanship, probably English, executed in mahogany, in the late Victorian taste and Chippendale Revival, datable to the late 19th or early 20th century. It features a large oval top, with a cut-out frame and a removable extension leaf. The waist is richly decorated with carved friezes of vegetal and bead motifs. It rests on two sturdy baluster-turned pedestals, adorned with acanthus leaves, terminating in quadripartite bases with curved legs and carved feet.
