Art Nouveau Tiles Auction

Original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: Boizenburger Wandplattenfabrik, Hans Duensing, Boizenburg an der Elbe. This factory was founded in 1903. The decoration of the swan by the reeds is embossed using a dust-pressed technique whereby clay powder is compacted under high pressure in a mold. The tile is in reasonable to good condition with bright glaze. There are indeed signs of use such as glaze damage and light scratches, see the pictures. I pack the tiles with great care, I ship all my packages with a track & trace number.

Originele antieke Art Nouveau tegel gemaakt door: Boizenburger Wandplattenfabrik, Hans Duensing, Boizenburg an der Elbe. Deze fabriek is opgericht in 1903. De decoratie van zwaan bij het riet is in reliëf aangebracht door middel van dust-pressed techniek waarbij klei poeder onder hoge druk wordt samengeperst in een mal. De tegel is in een redelijke tot goede conditie met heldere glazuur. Er zijn wel gebruikssporen zoals  glazuur beschadigingen en lichte krasjes, zie de afbeeldingen.  Ik verpak de tegels met veel zorg, ik verstuur al mijn pakketten met een track & trace nummer.
