Beautiful Pioneer PL-512X vinyl record player dating from the late 1970s, offered in its original black finish.

This manual belt-drive model is equipped with a 30 cm cast aluminium platter and a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm. When the arm moves, the platter starts to rotate, and it stops when the arm is returned to its rest.

The turntable has been revised, cleaned, aligned and tested. It operates correctly at both speeds, 33 and 45 rpm.

It is fitted with a Shure cartridge with a new Zafira 6651 elliptical stylus, intended as a replacement for the Shure N95E. The drive belt is also new.

Condition

Very good overall condition for its age.

The turntable shows some normal signs of use. The clear dust cover has superficial scratches, light marks and a patina consistent with age. The original manuals show a few creases, marks and signs of handling.

The hinges, feet, controls, cables and inscriptions are present. The factory label on the rear is also preserved.
