Silver commemorative coin of the Mexico 1968 Olympic Games, featuring on the obverse a stylized pre-Hispanic figure in motion, inspired by Mesoamerican art and associated with the rain god, accompanied by the Olympic rings and the event’s legend. The reverse shows the national coat of arms of Mexico with the eagle devouring a serpent on a cactus, executed in a classic and well-defined style. The specimen stands out for its excellent condition, with sharp relief, broad fields with uniform satin-brightness and minimal contact marks, offering a very attractive and representative appearance of this popular commemorative issue.
