Description from the seller
GERMANY. Berlin. 5 Mark. 1913. Wilhelm II (1888-1918)
- Value: 5 Mark.
- Reign: Wilhelm II (1888-1918).
- Year: 1913.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KÖNIG V. PREUSSEN around the bust, to the right. Reverse: DEUTSCHES REICH · 1913 · FÜNF MARK around the imperial crowned eagle with central shield; mint mark A beneath the eagle; pearl-granulated peripheral edging.
- Grade: MS61 (NGC).
Five-Mark silver coin with a uniform portrait of Wilhelm II looking to the right, in a realist, academic style, highlighting the precision of facial features and the Prussian decoration on the uniform. The reverse presents the crowned German imperial eagle, with a strong heraldic design and well-defined relief on the wings and central shield. Retains original luster visible on the fields and high-relief details, with light contact marks consistent with grade MS61. A representative specimen of the final imperial issues issued before World War I, minted in the year of the Kaiser’s 25th year of reign, within the context of the German Empire’s political and military peak.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
