Graetz - Moderato 6 Tube radio

For sale: splendid floor-standing radiogram (Musikschrank) Graetz Moderato 6 1218, original from the early 1960s (made in Germany, Altena).
An authentic piece of mid-century design, perfect as a striking furnishing element for modern living rooms or for vintage lovers.
Valve radio perfectly functioning.
The chassis powers on, the glass tuning scale lights up and is intact.
Excellent reception of today’s radio stations on the FM band (UKW).
Warm, enveloping sound guaranteed by the four built-in speakers.
Automatic turntable perfectly functioning, at the time replaced with a solid British BSR mechanism with a long spindle for automatic disc-changing (records descend in automatic sequence). The platter turns and the cabinet light works regularly, warm sound.
The front panel and the acoustic fabric are in splendid condition. The conical legs are stable. It has some nicks on the lower edge of the wood at the rear (see photo) and the upper rear protective cardboard is missing.
Pickup only in the area, at the buyer’s expense (given the weight of about 35 kg).
