Antique Russian Orthodox traveling icon, cast bronze with multicolored enamel details, datable to the first half of the 19th century.

The icon presents a religious composition arranged in several sacred scenes, traceable to the tradition of Russian portable devotional icons. This type of small bronzes was intended for private devotion and could be easily transported during travel and pilgrimages.

The surface retains the patina of time and traces of the original enamel, elements consistent with the age and use of the object.
