AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

An impressive and monumental French Trumeau wall mirror from the 1930s (Art Deco period). This generous mirror is made of solid oak and, with its impressive height of 1.70 meters, is an absolute top piece for a historic or eclectic interior. The eye-catcher is the beautifully deeply carved, symmetrical geometric floral motif in the semicircular arch at the top, flanked by streamlined details that are characteristic of early French Art Deco style. The back confirms the piece’s authenticity and early age: the mirror is still entirely original, constructed with sturdy, rough-sawn wooden protective panels and the original thick cardboard lining on the interior. The oak frame has a beautiful, warm, well-worn patina. The mirror glass is completely intact. Equipped with a solid, authentic hanging cord. Due to the large size and fragility, this lot is preferably collected in Belgium, or the buyer may arrange a specialized furniture courier themselves.
