Wall-mounted shaped mirror in the Louis XV Revival style, 20th century

Elegant wall-mounted shaped mirror of the 20th century, executed in the characteristic Neo-Rococo taste inspired by Louis XV. The wooden structure finely carved and gilded stands out for the pierced frame animated by C-scrolls, rocaille and acanthus leaf motifs, culminating in a rich crest at the top with a pierced oculus and finished below by a shaped pendant drop. The back retains the original panel protecting the mirror plate. The piece presents in excellent condition, enhanced by a warm antique patina and by slight wear to the gilding on the reliefs, consistent with its age.
