The icon of Catellani & Smith, the Catellani & Smith Fil de Fer, was developed for a special commission and ultimately captured the heart of designer Enzo Castellani. This stunning fixture is absolutely breathtaking and a favorite of many.

The Catellani & Smith Fil de Fer is a different type of lighting. Fil de Fer is a lighting fixture made from formed and woven aluminum wire.

This lamp was designed more than twenty years ago for a commission that was never used; it won the hearts and the attention of everyone who saw it when Catellani brought it into his workshop. It quickly became the icon of Catellani & Smith.

The Catellani & Smith Fil de Fer is 60 cm in diameter.
This lamp is in a beautiful used condition with minimal signs of wear.
It is still for sale as new for approx 2600 euros.
The lamp has been well tested for operation.
All halogen bulbs light up. See photos.
Light sources are considered not included. They are in there, though.
Also easy to replace with the right LED bulbs.
The distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the lamp is approx 100 cm.
