Wall-mounted Baroque-style scenographic mirror from the 20th century, executed in full Baroque Revival taste. The finely carved and molded frame stands out for a strongly undulating and rhythmic profile, embellished with volutes, scrolls, and a majestic apex crown in a shell-like form. The inner perimeter is enriched by elegant counter-volutes that project gently onto the surface of the mirror pane. The rich gold-leaf finish is enhanced by an intense dark antique-style patination, designed to accentuate chiaroscuro and the three-dimensionality of the reliefs.
The back features the shaped closing panel that protects the mirror, complete with a ring mount for hanging. The piece remains in excellent state of integrity and preservation, characterized by impeccable decorative rendering and minimal signs of aging consistent with the period.
