Sankyo 401C – vintage space-age digital alarm clock – Japan – 1970s
Vintage Sankyo digital alarm clock, model 401C, made in Japan by Sankyo Seiki Mfg. Co., Ltd., in the 1970s.
Very handsome model with a design typical of the space age, featuring an orange case, smoked front and chromed elements.
The device is in very good overall condition for its age.
It has been tested and works perfectly: the clock, mechanical display, alarm and adjustment functions are all operational.
AC mains power: 220 V – 50 Hz – 3 W.
The mechanism operates correctly and the digit changeover occurs normally.
Some light signs of use and micro-scratches may be present, consistent with the object's age. Please take a close look at the photographs, which are an integral part of the description.
