Functional Italian bedside table from the 1950s, produced by F.lli Morini, a Parma-based company specialized in producing furniture for the home and for work.
The piece is characterized by a structure in tubular metal with a simple yet sturdy design, typical of technical and hospital furnishings of the post-war era. The central body is veneered wood, with a front panel featuring a metal handle and a side opening.
The interior features a glass shelf, a practical and hygienic solution widely used in sanitary and functional furnishings of the era. The top is covered in light Formica with an aluminum edge, a material chosen for its durability and ease of cleaning.
The structure continues upward with a second suspended shelf, supported by metal uprights, ideal for resting books, lamps, or personal items.
On the front part of the furniture is still present the original logo of F.lli Morini – Arredamenti, Parma.
