Impressively large and heavy specimen of stepped-grown fluorite from the well-known Balochistan region in Pakistan. This museum-worthy piece weighs no less than 1816 grams and displays a fascinating, complex geometry. The crystals have the characteristic cubic structure with perfectly defined, repeating stepped patterns (also known as 'stepped growth' or 'skeletal growth'). The color ranges subtly from transparent gray to soft violet and purple hues, depending on the light incidence. A stunning visual spectacle and an absolute centerpiece for the serious mineral collector.
