Bookcase - Wood - Libreria Girevole

For sale: a table-top revolving bookcase ("revolving bookcase") inspired by Edwardian models and the Sheraton Revival style.
The piece is a vintage item dating from the second half of the 20th century. It features a structure of vertical slat openwork and a top surface with a leather insert and gold perimeter embossing. The lower rotating mechanism with a cross-type joint is smooth, the central wheel is missing.
There are light superficial scratches on the top, consistent with the item's age and not compromising its aesthetics. Solid construction.
