Portuguese commemorative 5 Euro coin, minted in 2017 by INCM, part of the prestigious Europe Series and dedicated to the theme "The Iron Age and Glass". By renowned designer Eduardo Aires, the design is inspired by the geometric architecture of the entrance to the old Palácio de Cristal in Porto.
This piece holds enormous numismatic significance as it is the first national coin to fuse the precious metal with a central element in transparent acrylic.
The lot includes the original cork case, the exterior illustrated protective sleeve and the accompanying guarantee and authenticity certificate from Casa da Moeda. Item in absolutely impeccable condition (Fleur de Coin / Proof), preserved in the original capsule.
