Two marble bookends from Belgium, dating to circa 1925, in Art Deco and Bauhaus styles.
Description from the seller
Art Deco Bauhaus bookends or mantel ornaments from Belgium, circa 1925.
The bookends with typical Bauhaus shapes such as right angles and semicircular curves are partly made of marble.
The marble pieces were affixed to a kind of mold to produce, during these crisis years, beautiful decorative pieces with little material.
Very decorative pieces from the previous century!
The bookends are in used condition with light signs of wear. Some chips are present. Nothing distracting, in my opinion. Everything is clearly visible in the photos.
Please examine the photos carefully to verify their condition.
The photos are part of the description.
Height 15.4 cm
Depth 7.5 cm
Width 11 cm
The bookends are shipped with tracking so you can follow the shipment.
Shipments outside the EU, to the UK and USA may incur additional costs such as customs duties and VAT.
To minimise the ecological footprint of shipments, reusable packaging materials are preferably used.
