The amulet sits on an integrated flat base and a suspension loop has been added behind the ram's head. Earthly encrustations to the surface. Signs of wear as consistent with age, such as chips, pitting, and scratches. Some chipping to the base edges and the left horn.
The ram was revered in Ancient Egypt for its virility and creative powers, and was hence an animal form adopted by multiple deities. This particular amulet shows the breed of ram with horns curling into the cheeks, rather than twisted horns projecting above the head.
