State Railways - FS, railway signaling sign.

FS sign from the 1990s that was placed on the tracks and that prohibited access to unauthorized persons.

The sign still bears a fine in Lire.

Beautiful and rare, I would say it is almost impossible to find in these conditions!

The sign shown in the photo is an original no-entry signal from Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), a vintage item highly valued by railway memorabilia enthusiasts and collectors.

Details of the sign
Main text: "AREA FERROVIARIA - VIETATO L'ACCESSO AGLI ESTRANEI AL SERVIZIO".
Regulatory reference: At the bottom it cites Art. 19, comma 2 of D.P.R. 11-7-1980 no. 753, which governs the norms relating to police, safety and the regularity of railway operation.

Penalty: Indicates an administrative penalty expressed in the old currency, from 20,000 to 60,000 lire.

FS Logo: In the upper left is visible the classic Ferrovie dello Stato logo "a foglia" or "a losanga", introduced starting in the 1980s.
