This is not just a lamp; it’s a striking art object that combines design and craftsmanship. The lamp dates from the 1970s and is in exceptionally good, original condition.
Iconic Design: A sleek, cubist form (10x10x10 cm) that is characteristic of the Space Age design movement. A heavy (1.6 kg), clear crystal housing cradles a vibrant red inner core.
Enthralling Light: When the lamp is lit (see photo 7), the red core transforms into a warm, atmospheric glow. The light is beautifully refracted by the thick crystal glass, creating a unique visual effect.
Striking Detail: The central, drop-shaped chrome reflector lamp (E14 fitting) is a real showpiece. The mirrored surface reflects the surroundings and enhances the lamp’s modern appearance.
