Description from the seller
2 Icons of History - The Mercedes-Benz 770, also known as the Großer Mercedes ("Great Mercedes" in German), was an ultra-luxury car produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1930 to 1944. The second model (W150) is best known for its use by high-ranking officials of Nazi Germany and its allies before and during World War II, including Adolf Hitler, Hermann Göring, Heinrich Himmler, Reinhard Heydrich, Ion Antonescu, Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim and Benito Mussolini, many of whom were captured in archival images. The 1939 Fiat 2800 Torpedo associated with Vittorio Emanuele III was the official luxury car ordered for the personal use of the last King of Italy (and Emperor of Ethiopia and King of the Albanians). Known specifically as "Alcinoo", this model represented the top-of-the-line hand-built by Fiat before World War II.
