French solid silver teapot by silversmith Charles Harleux, Minerve 1er titre 950, Louis XV Rocaille style, circa 1891, height about 19–20 cm, gross weight 356 g, monogrammed medallion, in excellent condition with light signs of use.

Beautiful solid French silver teapot (or coffee pot) in the Louis XV style, crafted by silversmith Charles Harleux, as evidenced by his maker's mark in a lozenge.
It is stamped Minerve first titre (950/1000), guaranteeing high-quality silver, and dates from the late 19th century (around 1891).
This elegant piece features a baluster silhouette resting on four feet with rocaille decoration. The spout is richly molded with spirals and the lid is topped with a leafy knop handle. Each side is adorned with a ribbon-bow medallion, one bearing an elegant engraved monogram.
The quality of the chasing, harmonious proportions, and the finesse of execution attest to the craftsman’s savoir-faire of silversmith Charles Harleux, active in Paris at the end of the 19th century.
