An attractive and highly collectible South Bend Watch Company antique American pocket watch, fitted with a finely finished 17-jewel mechanical movement and housed in a period Dueber gold-filled pocket watch case warranted for 20 years.

The movement is clearly signed “South Bend Watch Co., South Bend, U.S.A., 17 Jewels” and carries movement serial number 501626. The decorated movement displays traditional American watchmaking craftsmanship, with damaskeened finishing, exposed gilt gearwork and visible jewel settings.
