Very beautiful monumental Christ statue (1550-1600)

This is a statue from the Renaissance period in transition to Baroque, probably Italian or Flemish with Italian influence. The statue has a very beautiful face and beard.
The statue is in a weathered condition but has been treated. This too gives it its charm and age, which makes it decorative and historical.
Also beautiful in a modern interior.

Zeer mooi monumentaal Christus beeld (1550-1600)

 Het gaat om een beeld uit de renaissance periode naar de overgang Barok vermoedelijk Italiaans of Vlaams met een Italiaanse invloed. Het beeld heeft een zeer mooi gezicht en baard. 
Het beeld verkeerd in verweerde staat maar werd behandeld. Ook zo heeft het zijn charme en ouderdom wat het decoratief en historisch maakt.
Ook mooi in een modern interieur.
