Louis-Philippe-style wardrobe

* Period: Second half of the 19th century (c. 1860–1880)
* Geographical area: Italian/French manufacture
* Material and technique: Solid and veneered walnut wood
* Construction: One-door cabinet with a large central mirror of the period. Top cap with a broken line and rounded corners (in the Cappuccino style), surmounted by an ornate crown moulding carved with foliate scrolls, flanked by two turned acroteria.
* Lower elements: Base with a wide paralleling drawer with keyholes and period handles. The piece rests on bulb-turned front feet and block rear feet.
* Interior: Ready for a clothes rail.
* Condition: Good overall structural condition, original patina. Shows normal signs of time and wear consistent with the period.
