New women's bracelet with 24 pale blue Larimar spheres and eleven 18k yellow gold beads, total weight 8.81 g, circumference 18.5 cm, with a gold olive-shaped clasp, from the Dominican Republic.
Description from the seller
No reserve price
Magnificent larimar pearl bracelet combined with small 18-karat yellow gold spheres (the same material as its clasp, in olive shape).
The Larimar is a blue pectolite. Unique in the world, the so-called “Caribbean blue stone” is mined only from the mountains of the Dominican Republic. This rarity is explained by its particular volcanic formation process, which makes it even more precious and coveted. When shaped into a sphere, each piece seems to have captured a bit of Caribbean sea foam inside.
A small curiosity: the American mystic Edgar Cayce mentioned the existence of a blue healing stone, used in Atlantis, with healing powers and the ability to favor spiritual communication. His followers drew a parallel between his description of this Atlantean stone and the Larimar, discovered in the Dominican Republic in the seventies. Hence, at that time it was nicknamed the "Atlantis stone".
Larimar is rarely seen on the jewelry market. It is typically used in high-end jewelry.
This bracelet is a new piece of jewelry (however, to assess its condition yourself please study the photos carefully, they are part of the description).
