Description from the seller
The Minox 35 GT (introduced in 1981) is one of the smallest and lightest full-frame 35mm film cameras ever made, famous for its iconic pocket-sized design with a flip-open cover.
Made of Makrolon (a fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate resin), it weighs just 190 grams and has become a cult object among street photography and travel photography enthusiasts for its extreme discreteness.
Key Technical Features:
- Lens: Fixed Color-Minotar 35mm f/2.8 very sharp, ideal for capturing vivid details with a moderately wide-angle focal length.
- Exposure: Functions in aperture-priority mode.
- Focusing: Exclusively manual by estimation (metric/hyperfocal method).
- Power: Originally designed for the old 5.6V mercury PX27 batteries (now banned). Today it is easily powered using adapters with 4 LR44 button cells or equivalent lithium batteries such as CR1/3N.
