The Lega statue on one foot is a traditional carved figure of the Lega people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

It is characterized by a highly stylized human body resting on a single leg, sometimes with arms or a head greatly simplified. These small figures were notably associated with the Bwami initiation rites and could be used to convey teachings, moral values and symbols related to communal life.
