Set 1: The Coxeter General Surgery Toolkit (c. 1860–1890)
Maker: Coxeter, London stamped clearly on the surgical steel instruments — a premier London instrument maker active from 1836 to 1939.

Contents: Features a collection of traditional ebony wood-handled scalpels, specialised hooks, (one missing the handle), scissors, and probes.

Presentation: Housed in a dark textured leatherette case lined with striking, plush crimson-red velvet and fitted brass retention slots.

Condition: Good period condition with rich patination on the steel and intact ebony handles.

Set 2: The Plucknett & Co. Specialist Kit (c. 1880–1910)
Maker: Plucknett & Co., London, stamped onto three of the scalpels, one other stamped 'Weiss', two unmarked.

Contents: A slender, precision-crafted array of fine steel blades, probes, and spatulated instruments designed for delicate medical procedures.

Presentation: Housed in a sleek dark case featuring a vibrant, deep blue velvet interior with a maker stamp on the upper lid lining. which is indistinct but appears to be 'Weiss London'.

Condition: Good preservation with clean lines and functional clasps.
