Lotto consisting of two Italian silver pieces: a 1995 5,000 Lire silver coin (silver fineness 835/1000, 18 g, 32 mm) commemorating the 6th centenary of Pisanello’s birth, and a 2003 official diplomatic medal for the Presidency of the Republic (Quirinale) struck for Ciampi’s Greece visit (15–17 July 2003), silver 986/1000, 69.82 g, 55 mm, obverse Greece map and reverse Quirinale façade with Ciampi’s inscribed signature and the engraver’s monogram V; out of legal tender, with a non-original green case included as protective cover.

Lot consisting of two Italian silver numismatic collectibles, ideal for coin enthusiasts and institutional memorabilia: Rare official and diplomatic medal of the Presidency of the Republic (Quirinale): Minted by the State Mint for the official visit of President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi to Greece (July 15–17, 2003). Front with map of Greece; back with the facade of the Quirinale and Ciampi's engraved signature. Engraver's monogram (V). No longer legal tender / display piece. Silver of the highest fineness 986/1000. Weight: 69.82 grams. Diameter: 55 mm. Thickness: 4 mm. Note: the green case “Schweizerische Volksbank” included is not original; it is provided as a protective case as a courtesy. 5,000 Lire Silver Coin 1995 (Pisanello): Official commemorative issue from the Rome Mint for the 6th centenary of Pisanello’s birth.
