Alfi - Ice bucket - Copper - with Tongs

Vintage Alfi insulated ice bucket with matching tongs, manufactured in West Germany and dating from approximately the 1960s–1970s.

A characteristic example of European Mid-Century barware, combining an elegant polished copper exterior with a practical insulated construction.

The cylindrical body is finished in polished copper. The lid is operated by a folding handle with a contrasting black plastic grip. A dedicated holder on the side of the bucket holds the matching copper ice tongs, which are included with the piece.

Inside is an insulated plastic liner, designed to keep ice cubes cold and slow down melting. The liner is clean and intact, and the lid and closing mechanism function properly.

The original manufacturer’s mark is present on the underside.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. There are a few minor surface scratches and a very small dent on the lid; these are discreet and hardly noticeable in normal use and do not detract from the overall appearance of the piece. The insulated plastic liner is clean and intact, and the closing mechanism works properly.
