Boeri Torquato Ditta advertising box in aluminium, vintage from circa 1940–1950, 35 cm high, 49 cm wide, 30 cm deep, made in Italy, in good condition with light signs of aging.
Description from the seller
Rare and fascinating original Boeri cones advertising box
Original from the 1950s/60s by the Boeri Torquato Company of Parma, originally used to contain and preserve ice cream cones.
Made entirely of metal with original lithographed graphics in the characteristic yellow, cream, and blue tones.
The container shows a splendid authentic patina, with scratches, oxidations, discolorations and signs of use due to time. These marks have been deliberately preserved and contribute to the object's strong industrial and advertising character.
On the front it is clearly legible:
CONO BOERI
DITTA BOERI TORQUATO
Vicolo S. Maria, 1 – PARMA
Tel. 23142
Lid opens and interior original, not restored.
An interesting example of Italian commercial advertising from the era, today particularly decorative for kitchens, ice cream parlors, bars, lofts and industrial/vintage environments.
Item preserved in its original condition, not restored.
