The dreamily beautiful figurines were created in the "Cottage Style" by master sculptor and painter JIM SHORE. He drew his inspirations from American Folk Art. Specifically for his Folk Art Collection "Heartwood Creek," Jim Shore was named "ARTIST OF THE YEAR" in 2004 by the National Association of Limited Edition Dealers.
The individual pieces are very lovingly crafted, detailed, and vivid. The originals are carved by Jim Shore. These figures also have the appearance of carved figures, since the originals were used to create the molds for casting.
