Model plane - Dornier Do X

1:72 scale model of the Dornier Do X seaplane – 1929, a passenger transport aircraft that went into service in 1929.
Of the various models on the market, this is one of the largest and most faithful. It measures 55 cm in length and has a wingspan of 67 cm.
It is made of die-cast metal and weighs 5.00 kg. A plastic stand, included in the package, serves as a support for placing it on a flat surface. The die-cast detailing gives the model a perfect likeness to the original aircraft, with no simplifications or approximations. The small external parts (antennas, periscopes, air intakes, and others) are made of metal or plastic.

The model for sale is perfect and complete with all its parts, including the original cardboard box. Inside you will find a thermoformed plastic tray that holds the aircraft outline, with its rigid parts resting on supports that immobilize it. The delicate parts have no possibility of interfering with any rigid part of the packaging, thus avoiding damage. Despite its weight, the model can travel safely by courier.
