Description from the seller
Cor Jaring (1936-2013) only began to work seriously as a photographer in the mid-1960s of the last century. He mostly photographed in black and white, including the Provo movement and Amsterdam as a 'magical center'. He stood at the forefront of happenings with artists such as Robert Jasper Grootveld, Simon Vinkenoog, Johnny van Doorn and Theo Kley. He gained international fame for his photos of the disturbances during the wedding of Princess Beatrix and Prince Claus in 1966 and of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in bed during their Bed-in for Peace in the Hilton hotel in 1969.
