Pair of Danish neoclassical brass and patinated bronze vases by H.A. Lund, ca. 1890–1920, in good condition with minor signs of aging, measuring 18 cm high, 20 cm wide and 10 cm deep.

Antique Danish brass mantel vases and candlesticks made by the respected Danish foundry H.A. Lund (H.A.L.) in Copenhagen. (circa 1900) – Model 6485
The vases are executed in an eclectic, Neoclassical French style. (early 20th century)
One of the vases still partly bears the original factory label on the bottom, which is very rare for objects of this age.
They are richly decorated with an openwork crown rim with French fleur-de-lis at the top edge and stand on graceful, perforated pedestals with lion’s paw feet. The shaft has a distinctive and characteristic organic craquelé relief with a beautiful, deep patina.
Period: circa 1890 - 1920
Material: Solid brass (yellow copper) and patinated bronze
In very beautiful, authentic antique condition with a wonderfully lived patina.
Dimensions: 18 cm high and 20 cm wide 10 cm deep.
