Description from the seller
It is a green ceramic column that reinterprets the Renaissance Ionic language through the mid-20th‑century decorative sensibility, when workshops sought to update classical forms without losing their solemnity. The piece preserves the essential structure of the Ionic order: a fluted, vertical, and elegant shaft that rises with regular rhythm, and a simplified square capital, where the tradition of the volutes is hinted more by proportion than by explicit ornament.
The glaze on green ceramic gives it a very particular presence: the glossy surface captures the light and turns it into soft reflections, creating a dialogue between architectural solidity and chromatic freshness. That deep green, almost mineral, makes the column into a decorative object with character, capable of standing out in both classical interiors and modern environments.
The square base, also molded with discreet moldings, balances the composition and reinforces the sense of stability. Taken together, the piece functions as a plinth, pedestal, or sculptural accent, perfect for supporting a plant, a sculpture, or simply to occupy space with its serene and classically reinterpreted presence.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
