Beautiful vintage set, tested and working.
The Akai CS-F9 is a high-quality stereo cassette deck produced around 1981 in Japan. This model is among the better devices from Akai's classic CS series and is known for its reliable two-head design and electronic soft-touch operation.
-Transport system: Solid loop mechanism driven by 2 motors.
-Heads: Equipped with 1 recording/playback head and 1 W/C head.
-Tape support: Suitable for Normal (Type I), CrO2 (Type II) and Metal (Type IV) cassettes.
- Frequency range: 30 Hz to 18,000 Hz when using Metal tapes.
-Noise Reduction: Featuring Dolby B Noise Reduction.
-Signal-to-noise ratio: Approximately 60 dB to 66 dB with Dolby B engaged.
-Wow & Flutter: Only 0.04% to 0.05% WRMS.
