Box - Gilt brass - Semi-precious stones

A fine gilt brass pill box with agate cover and base, measuring circa 5,5cm in length and weighing 34g, the hinged lid made from several pieces of banded agate, sodalite and malachite, the base from maroon lace agate. Estimated age: Circa late 19th century.

Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. minor wear commensurate with age.
